We read a lot about Job and all his travails, but little is thought about him in the context of leadership. What is Job's calling and how does it impact his ability to lead even when the going gets seriously rough?
We have a lot of pointers to give when it comes to positive leadership, but what about when the storm hits and you feel like the world has collapsed around you? What pointers do we have? Especially when the best response we get from people around us does not sound too dissimilar from the advice Job's wife gave him!
I've been contemplating a lot on Job of late, not so much in relation to his circumstance, but primarily in relation to his calling, and in turn challenging myself in my own calling!
Any thoughts on the above questions?
